Anna's Fourth Birthday!

Anna had a birthday this past Thursday, and we had so much fun celebrating her big day. To start off the celebration we had her friends come over for a pajama party. Of course her friends came over in their cute little pj's and got busy making fruit loop necklaces. Next we played some games. We played, "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Plates", a pajama dress-up relay (which included them putting on shower caps...too funny), and the doughnut chomp. After the games we fed the girls pancakes for dinner. Finally to top it off, instead of cupcakes, Anna wanted cinnamon rolls. Anna had such a fun time and we are so grateful for all those who came. After Anna's friend party was over, my parents came over to celebrate with us. Instead of wanting the traditional cake and ice cream, Anna requested peach pie (this girl loves peach pie). The next day, which was her actual birthday, we decided to take Anna out to the Brick Oven to get sang to, and to get her very own birthday ice cream. We then headed home to have Anna open some more presents. This year Anna's big gift from us was a princess bike/helmet that she has wanted for a while. It's fun to watch her ride it. She is learning really fast how to use the pedals and brakes. I am like most mothers, amazed at how fast my kids are growing up. Our Anna is such a sweet and happy girl. Whenever she is excited, she jumps instead of walks. When the primary sung happy birthday to her, she jumped her way up to the front and jumped her way back to her seat with a huge smile. That is just the type of girl she is...happy! She makes all those around her happy as well, especially her mom and dad. We love you Anna and happy 4th birthday!
