Christmas 2014
We had such a fun and wonderful Christmas this year! The whole month was filled with total excitement from the kids. Our elf on the shelf Mr. Jingles returned and each day he brought a little box from that came from the North Pole. The box either contained a piece of candy for the kids or they were to open a reindeer bag. The kids had so much fun with this and would wake up way too early to go and find Mr. Jingles to see what he brought them that day. One night Mr. Jingles door bell ditched our door and gave all the kids Polar Express tickets to go on a drive to see Christmas lights. The kids were able to eat popcorn on the way and sip yummy hot chocolate. They had a great time except for the fact that when we arrived at the lights, Claire was sound asleep! Before Claire went off for her Christmas break from school, her class put on a Christmas program. She was Mrs. Clause. She did such a fantastic job saying her lines and singing the songs. We were so proud of her! On Christmas eve we tried to make it a fun day for the kids as well. We went and saw a movie and went out to dinner. After dinner we came home and they got to open their Christmas jammies and read the story of the birth of Jesus. Christmas morning was definitely memorable. The kids couldn't get enough of their toys, and then after we had our traditional Kneaders french toast. It was a very low key, relaxing morning which Kyle and I didn't mind at all! Later in the afternoon we headed up to my mom's for some more fun and excitement. Christmas was really really fun this year. Our kids are at the prime age where Christmas really is the best!!!
