Halloween 2014

October went by so fast this year and before we knew it was Halloween. A few days before Halloween, Anna had a school concert. It was so fun to see her sing the songs and do the actions. There were only a few kids in all of 1st grade that actually had a speaking part, and she was one of them! She rocked her part! We were so proud of her! Halloween was even more fun this year because Tate was able to participate in trick or treating. He caught on to the system pretty quickly and was pretty pleased with what he got in his bucket (the boy is addicted to sugar)! Before heading out trick or treating, we carved some pumpkins, ate pumpkin quesadillas, and then they were off! This year we had a "zoo theme." It's so fun to have a theme and that the girls are on board with it because I don't think we will be able to coordinate much longer as the girls get older. This year I was the zookeeper, Anna was a leopard,  Claire was a flamingo (her favorite animal), and Tate was a lion. We had a great Halloween and just barely finished off the candy. Hopefully we don't have any cavities!
