Easter 2014
The kids had such a great Easter last month. We kicked off the festivities by going to a "golden bunny hunt" Saturday morning at Old Navy. The person to find the golden bunny would receive $100 gift card. To entice the girls to come with me, they also gave away some fun Easter kid stuff too. Well the girls and I got there and planned out our strategy, but unfortunately we didn't find the golden bunny. Instead we ended up with some jelly bellys, stickers, and bunny ears. Later that day we painted some eggs, then invited some friends over from the ward that evening. We then had a more successful egg hunt where everyone is a winner! We have 1:00 church, so Easter Sunday morning was nice because the girls and Tate got to play with their new goodies from the Easter bunny. After church we headed up to my moms for a delicious dinner and yet another fun and exciting Easter egg hunt. Easter day seemed very busy this year, but it is was such a great day to teach our kids about what our Savior has done for us, and to always be eternally grateful for his atoning sacrifice.
