Yep, we no longer have a baby in the house. Our little one is not so little anymore. Claire turned 2 this past Wednesday. To celebrate, we had some family over, and then some friends over the following day. She had a wonderful birthday full of more princess stuff. It was so fun to watch her blow her candles out. She tried and tried, but she was having a hard time blowing air straight into her candles. Instead she would blow air upwards. With a little help from her sis, those candles were gone in a second! Here are a few things that Claire does that makes us smile:
- She still loves her blankies. She will pull off little pieces of lint from them and tickle her nose. Sometimes those little pieces go up her nose, but she eventually gets them out of there.
- She loves bubbles!
- She loves to play with her older sister and pretend that she is a monster.
- She still has a very low laugh, and we hope it never goes away because it is so contagious.
- She loves to dance.
- She likes to read on her own in her own words, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear."
- She still is our little cuddler.
Claire we love you and want you to know how happy you make us all! Happy birthday, you are a sweetheart!
