Easter Weekend

We had a fun candy-filled Easter weekend. On Saturday we took the girls over to the city's Easter egg hunt. Surprisingly we got more than one egg in comparison to last years hunt. Claire even got a few too! After the hunt, the girls went over and met the Easter bunny. They both were not as afraid of the Easter bunny as they were of Santa. Saturday night we took on the tradition and colored Easter eggs. On Easter Sunday the girls woke up, ate more candy from the Easter bunny, played with their new little toys, and of course went to church in their new Easter attire. After church and a good long nap, we headed off to my parents, ate a delicious dinner and had another Easter egg hunt. I think our sugar stash is doing just fine for the time being. Oh and the Easter bunny happened to give the girls, "Tangled." We have now watched that movie three times within the last 24 hours, and I cannot for the life of me get the songs out of my head. Good thing it is a good movie : ).
