We had a fun 4th of July this year. We had a BBQ with my family and went and watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks. Anna loved them! She kept saying, "Boom" or "hot." The following week went to the Bees game with my family and it was a lot of fun. After the show they had a really neat firework show, and once again Anna just loved it! I was worried about Claire's reaction during the show, but she didn't cry at all. In fact everytime a firework went off, she would blink. She was basically blinking the whole time! It was fun to spend the weekend with the whole family. Other important events included Anna going to her very first birthday party at her bestest bud Lauren's house. She had been so excited about it and she had a blast. For two weeks I heard nothing but cake and nanana (Lauren). Also, Anna has been playing with her new buddy who lives across the street from us, Izzy. They are really cute together. Lastly this past weekend we ALL got sick with a cold. It has not been a very fun past few days, but we all are starting to feel better.
